How we choose

Sign at planting. Walk every farm. Publish the paperwork.

A grower we have not walked is a grower we will not list.

We sign forward contracts at planting, not at harvest. The price floor is set six months ahead. The certification cost — EU Organic, GlobalG.A.P., SMETA, Demeter where it applies — is on our books, not the farm's. The farm keeps the certificate if we ever part. Co-investment, where we do it, is in equipment the farm owns: a sorting line, a hydro-cooler, a chiller for the loading dock. We recover the cost against our margin over a season or two, never against the farm price.

The catalog is the public face of this work. The lots and farms below are the entire list. We add growers slowly and remove them rarely.

No. 02 — On the paperwork

A lot leaves Beheira with seven documents.

sent before the container arrives

Each shipment moves with a lot-level traceability file: harvest record, packhouse log, cold-chain temperature trace, phytosanitary certificate, organic transaction certificate, EU customs entry, and the SMETA audit on the workforce. We send it before the container arrives. We do not wait for the buyer to ask.
