Leena Organica is a trading house whose product is its paperwork. The commitments below govern how we publish, what we publish, who verifies it, and how buyers can challenge it. The articles bind both legal entities — Leena Organica B.V. (NL) and Leena Organica Egypt LLC (EG).
The file is signed by a named QA lead. It remains publicly viewable for seven years, indexed by lot ID, commodity, lane, and date. If a file is missing, the shipment did not move on Leena Organica paper, irrespective of any contract, invoice, or bill of lading bearing our name.
Multi-residue panels (487 EU MRL actives, GC-MS / LC-MS-MS) are run by Eurofins Scientific NL. The Eurofins field representative draws the composite sample at the pack-house under cold-chain. We do not select, prepare, or modify the sample. Results — pass or fail — publish verbatim with the report PDF. Failed lots are published as failed, withdrawn from sale, and remain on the register.
Every audit reference printed on a lot file resolves to a current certificate from a named, accredited body: Control Union (EU Organic, Demeter), TUV Nord (BRCGS), Intertek (SMETA), SGS (ISO 22000), NVWA (plant health), ISTA (seed). We refuse to ship under any expired scope. A monitor process flags any certificate within 30 days of expiry; renewal status is itself published in the register.
Reefer temperature data is recorded at 2-minute intervals by Sensitech CCM loggers (RY-series). The full time series — typically 1,200–1,500 data points per Atlantic crossing — is rendered on the lot file. Excursions, however small, are visible. We do not publish only the mean. We do not clip the spec band. We do not omit the door-event log.
A current or prospective buyer may observe a Control Union annual audit, a TUV Nord BRCGS surveillance, an Intertek SMETA, or a pre-harvest visit, on 14 days' written notice. The buyer attends as silent observer; the auditor retains full independence. Travel and per diem are at the buyer's cost. Slots are allocated first-come; we publish the calendar 90 days ahead on the chain-of-custody page.
A lot rejected at any stage — pre-load, in-transit, or at receiver — publishes a full file with the same depth of detail as a passing lot. The status is marked clearly. The root-cause finding and the corrective action publish within 30 days of the incident. Withdrawn product cannot reappear under a different lot ID.
Our standard supply contract with an Egyptian grower carries an explicit cost-share for organic and GlobalG.A.P. certification (Leena Organica funds 50% of the audit fee in years one and two for any farm joining the register). Buyer-facing contracts disclose our gross trading margin as a percentage band. We do not believe a verifier-brand can keep that figure private.
If you believe a published lot file is materially inaccurate, file a written challenge to challenges@leenaorganica.com citing the lot ID and the disputed claim. We respond in writing within 5 working days. Challenges and their resolution publish to the register, redacted only for personal data. To date, two challenges have been filed (both 2025, both resolved on record).
